There are more than 350 different types of birds in Kyrgyzstan. Your way will go up to 3700 m above a sea level and will pass through various climatic zones; from semi -desert of Western part of Issyk-Kul area to alpine meadows of Lake Song-Kul. You can see different types of birds: from wild spread birds like turtle-dove, swallowdove, black thrush, sulfur crow, jackdaw and sparrow to rare kinds of birds, lives in our Republic. For example Ibidorhyncha struthersii (Ibisbill), Syrrhaptes paradoxus (Pallas’s Sandgrouse), Falco peregrinus (Peregrine Falcon), and etc.
The Kyrgyz Range is a large range in the North TienShan. It stretches for a total length of 454 km from the west-end of Issyk-Kul to the town Taraz in Kazakhstan. All the riches of Kyrgyz nature can be found here: the fantastic beauty of mountain views stretching to the far horizon, the magic high-mountain lakes and waterfalls, the juicy greens of the Alpine meadows framed by rocks and many different kinds of animals and flora. The pure air, sated by oxygen and the aroma of mountain forests, makes the Canyons unique places.
